Abstract

The authors describe the features of demonstration experiments of the school botany course. The role and the significance of using demonstration experiments for teaching methods of school biology courses are determined. The authors give specific examples of experiments with Botanical content which in their opinion can be used to improve the practical skills of students studying the botany course. The article presents the results of the analysis of final test papers in biology for the use of tasks containing experiments on the botany course. A brief description of the methodology for using demonstration experiments at various stages of the lessons is given.
